Meet some of the adorable animals we looked after in 2024 At WVS, we treat and care for all types of animals around the world. We are working to make sure that every animal has access to veterinary care when they need it ❤️

Hannah is a veterinary nurse, who assists with our outreach projects and manages our vet nurses at our clinics. “I am still obsessed with animals, so having a job where I am still actively helping them, and getting to sneak in some cuddles with the patients is still rewarding.”

Courtnie is the Clinical Operations Manager for WVS Malawi, she is a veterinary nurse who treats and cares for patients, while also running the clinic and shelter. “If you have a caring nature and love animals it's one of the best, most rewarding jobs I think you can find.”

International Day of Women and Girls in Science is on the 11th February🌍 Hear from Erika, Veterinary Surgeon at WVS: “You are smart, strong, and capable. If what you really want is to be a veterinarian, put in the effort, fight for it, study hard, and believe in yourself.”

Our amazing veterinary team in Thailand has been visiting temples to give veterinary treatment and care to dogs 💉🐾 As well as being a place of worship, many temples in Thailand also end up looking after animals who are without a home.

In October, our amazing teams delivered a mass vaccination campaign in Cambodia, to stop the spread of rabies. They protected 229,488 dogs against this fatal disease and made some furry friends on the way! 💉 Find out more in the Winter Young Vets Club magazine, out soon!
