There's nothing good about having kids for sure and I speak from experience (I have a 8yo) and especially if you are naturally selfish like me. I don't like waking up to someone staring at you in the middle of night, I don't like responding to "Mummy" all the time, I don't like answering endless questions, I want my house to remain clean all the time, I don't like strangers in my space. Bottom line I envy empty Nesters

Nah!!! Bse personally, having a child is the best thing that has ever happened to me.. No amount of money can equate to the joy my child brings in my life. Life is not a smooth road as y’all want to look at it. Even minus children, there no happiness guaranteed 100% in life for a woman especially.

Most of your parents have been unhappy while growing up . That's why most of you want to make it up them now that you have grown up. Have you considered that maybe they would have been happier and more productive if they had a choice to be childless without being judged?
