Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center is hosting their Annual Mother’s Day Plant & Bake Sale on Friday, May 8 & Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Shop hanging flower baskets, native plants, herbs + veggies, plus meet some of their ambassador animals.

Camp Hero, Montauk. Camp Hero was built in 1942 by the U.S. Army as a coastal defense installation during WWII. During the Cold War the radar tower was built to track Soviet missile threats. Decommissioned in 1981, the site is now Camp Hero State Park. #ThrowbackThursday
