@ZubinPratap Not to downplay the importance of experience, but web3 is taking too much delight in stealing talent from web2 brands like Google. This recruitment is already biased torwards American geography/citizenship. There's so much talent in India, Africa etc.

@ZubinPratap I'm one of the newbies you describe. I'm now looking torwards decentralised jobs because some of us are automatically denied web2 opportunities due to citizenship. Congrats you passed the Google interview but we can't sponsor your visa, if only you were born in Aus.

Yes it is true - that Blockchain is on a massive growth spurt. - that almost half of those surveyed said they wanted to learn web 3 tech - that ML has 12X growth in job opps but Web3 has 33X But, in my personal view, it is a bad idea for those new to p…lnkd.in/g_9jVTwz
