@MrKevonaroll I agree that interests and tastes can change. Pretty much open to any change in taste in future! Also I don't see a problem in saying out loud.

@Ysh_here People might feel so but wouldn't say it out loud.. but also people have their own tastes. There was a time when i despised metal, now i love it.. same with ultra pop sounding music.

Unpopular opinion: I get bored of ghazals in like 2-3 mins of listening.

Quite a tough year that I can say I survived. Inspite of mental health issues reaching its peak and later physical health issues joining in the form of a damaged voice box, I'm proud that I took care of myself, took pro help and reached out to my friends whenever needed. 🌼

I’m happy that I’m leaving this thing here and moving to the new year with much relief. 2022 has been really really rough and unfair to me both mentally and physically. Hope to catch up in 2023! 4/4

Now, after 3 months and 13 days of voice rest I have to start believing that my vocal cords are fine. Anyway, the year is coming to a close. I’m taking these few days to prep myself to start singing again. 3/4

I was like, whhaat? Maybe the nodule got cured. Perhaps I took really good care. Idk. There’s the presence of some mucous in the throat, and for that I need to gargle with aloe vera gel regularly. Otherwise, there was nothing wrong with the test results. 2/4

WELCOME BACK VOICE Yesterday was a revelation. I took some time to mentally take in what happened yesterday. I went to see the laryngologist in Trivandrum, got some tests done and finally doc said my vocal cords are fine. 1/4

But I gather all my courage to say, fuck my voice until I get it back. *mindfully taking care of my voice and conveniently forgetting about it at the same time, fuck that’s hard* 5/5 (phew!)

I was surprised at the no of activities I’m capable of doing without using my voice. But my voice has always been my identity. Fuck it I’m more than my voice right?! Actually, the title of this post is now looking scary. I don’t want it to be true. 4.5/5 (not rating :p)
