I keep seeing people equate "being on your knees" with weakness. Sure some instances could be construed as showing weakness but in this age i much prefer to look at how it can show strength, compassion and ability to show humility in the face of adversity. Things I do on my knees : Pray to God & Jesus for protection, grace, forgiveness. Thank God & Jesus for all I have been blessed with. Wipe a tear from someones face or provide comfort. Provide affection to a dearly loved pet. Provide protection from insecurity for someone in need. Provide life saving care to someone in need. Bring new life into this world. Help the circle of life complete itself. See things from a different POV. Separate growth from what tries to strangle it. Plant a seed to reap the rewards later. Harvest the rewards. Enjoy the feel of grass on my skin on a summers day. Feel free to add to this list but just know you reap what you sow. 😏🙏

@TheArchivistLC It's discouraged IMO by apps, "modern living" in a smart tech world and corporate mega stores. Why bother growing x crop, harvesting and then preserving it when its "cheaper" to go buy it when u need it type mentality. Roundup ready crops good cuz it saves time weeding🤦‍♀️

Hey I know not everyone has the space for it but might be a good idea to do a food garden this year. Start it now. Even if you’re in an apartment in a city, you can do balcony pots and or look into co-op gardening. Join some Facebook farming groups, find nearest local farmers and support them directly. Even if you don’t eat the food you grow, you can donate it to food banks.

@TheArchivistLC it is not just delivery it is reliance on food being on the shelves to be purchased IMO. I live in the North so food item shortages are common exp in winter. People have turned away from shopping local in favour of all being under 1 roof and they think growing food not worth it.

@YukonSteph We as a society have gotten really bad about this. Way too many rely on food delivery. That will vanish soon if these prices keep going up.
