Bugsnax is so underrated, you aren't ready for the wild tone/tone shifts until you play it for yourself. There's nothing else like it and I really hope we get another full Young Horses game.

Revisiting Bugsnax because I was in the mood for it and I really did forget how everybody in the last half of the game is just like "I'm so worthless my life's work has all been for nothing and I'm going to die alone. Please turn my legs into hot dogs to take the pain away"

@dreamtdebris Not that he needed to become a redeemed villain, but in a less kiddie movie a conflicted Pawbert would be sick.

@dreamtdebris Ultimately, I think Pawbert was the one who suffered the most from being one-note. Great archetype in theory, but we barely see the guy and his issues are just told to the audience.
It's convenient to jump to "I'm just CARTOONISHLY evil now" when nuance could work.

i also think that they were not ready to tackle 5 main characters at once, they wanted time to develop Wildehopps but I feel like the character they should've reserved the most attention to is Gary. i think most people agree the pacing was very fast
