Okay so I have some exciting news I want to share with you all… I am officially making concept art for an indie game called Toybox Titans!! I’ll share more details in the future, but I cannot explain how grateful I am to have this opportunity and to you all for the support!

well that was fast! just met with a studio head for a really cool game said the team was super impressed with my work and would love to have me, talking with everybody more on monday. fully remote, great pay, hard problems to solve chat we are so back 🥹

Unfortunately me and my team were hit by the Epic layoffs. Still in shock at depth and speed it's happened at. I've loved the 5+ yrs here but I'm also deeply looking forward to taking a bit of a break and then finding something new and exciting to work on. Onwards and upwards!

I wasn't impacted, but I was left speechless. Its so disheartening to lose such pivotal people at epic. Love goes out to those who were impacted.

Hey y'all... Ya so I got laid off too from Fortnite Festival. All I've ever wanted to do was make cool games for people that help them feel a little bit better or happier in their day... It's so sad that it's this hard to do just that.

I was impacted by today’s layoffs at Epic. Truly came out of nowhere for me. Right before my birthday, too. I really liked Epic. Really liked the teams. Really liked what we were doing in music. So it’s all a shock. Time to breathe for a minute. Then onward and upward.

Unfortunately I was affected by the layoffs today. This is a lot to process for me so I will take it easy for the rest of the week while I think of next moves. Sigh I weep for this industry.

I’m one of the folks impacted by the Epic Games / Psyonix layoffs today. I loved the communities I worked with and the people I got to support, that part meant the most. ❤️ Still processing... time to breathe and look ahead.

Won the wrong lottery today. I was also impacted by this. What an amazing team we were still building though, these last few months had been truly special 🫡

Truly enjoyed my time working here. This felt unnecessary. The best thing to do is look forward - if anyone has any leads of openings in QA please let me know. I have tons of experience working in cross-discipline environments, supporting features from concept to shipping.

I’m a part of the layoffs today at Epic, closing out four years working on Fortnite. It’s been the privilege of my early career being a part of this team. I’m proud of what we built, and grateful for every person I got to build it with. Fortnite will always be special to me.
