The sessions covered project appraisal, financial feasibility & entrepreneurship development with inputs from experts including resource persons from JKEDI and TBS, University of Jammu.

One-Day Training of Trainers under Mission YUVA A one-day specialized training session for Resource Persons/Trainers of Jammu Division chaired by MD Mission YUVA J&K was organized on 17 April 2026 at Employment Complex, Toph Sherkhania, Jammu under Mission YUVA. #MissionYUVA

Officials from BISAG(Mission YUVA Portal Developer Team), NIC, representatives from J&K Bank & JK Grameen Bank, staff from District Employment Offices & Business Helpline teams participated & shared their feedback & suggestions for improving & streamlining beneficiary services.

A Comprehensive Mission YUVA Portal Workshop held under the chairmanship of MD Mission YUVA. The session focused on the functioning, updates &strengthening of the Mission YUVA portal to ensure smoother implementation of the scheme &better support for aspiring entrepreneurs.

The training aimed to equip field functionaries with the knowledge and tools to effectively support youth in starting sustainable enterprises across J&K.

Sh. Harvinder Singh IAS, MD, Mission YUVA J&K, highlighted the Mission’s vision and encouraged proactive guidance and handholding of aspiring entrepreneurs. Prof. B. S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, emphasized clearly defined roles for effective functioning of the team.

Capacity Building Training for SBDU & BHD Members under Mission YUVA at IIM Jammu A two-day Capacity Building Training Programme for members of SBDUs and BHDs under Mission YUVA was held at IIM Jammu on 15–16 April 2026. #MissionYUVA

Additionally, Mission YUVA marked its presence at the Baisakhi Fair at Dal Draman, District Doda, where an exhibition stall attracted significant public interest.

Mission YUVA also set up an awareness stall at Tawi Mahotsav, Jammu, engaging visitors and sharing information on entrepreneurship support initiatives.

DC Kulgam Sh Shahzad Alam, IAS emphasized proper counselling and continuous handholding of beneficiaries for effective implementation of the scheme. Officers from Employment Department, BHDs and SBDUs participated in the programme.
