Personally, I don't really care if people enjoy that type of content, so long as it stays tied to non-existent entities (anime, etc etc). If he was using mythic marvels as a sandbox for it...he can do whatever he wants with it as it's his creation.
But I do understand why communities don't want ties with someone who likes such content. Disliking it is fine, but calling them a paedophile over it (which is incorrect and waters down the term immensely) is a bit much. It's like calling someone a murderer cause they like killing NPC's in video games.
