Ashanti Regional Minister, Frank Amoakohene, has revealed plans to organize an annual or bi-annual event to educate students about Ashanti culture. Speaking during the “Pilgrimage to Fomena, the ‘Sagranti War’” as part of AshantiFest, he said the festival may be held annually to give young people the chance to experience the rich culture, while also considering historians’ proposal for a six-month cycle.
