@eileenwanita It is hard. I have a similar problem, but let's look at this a different way. Would you want to be inside your friend's head? Would you want to go through their thoughts and potentially find a character like you? You might not do that, but it is a real fear for many readers.

I hate how none of my friends seem to care about my books. They don't want to read them, they don't respond to my updates about my writing, they don't give me feedback on my books, nothing. If one of my friends had a book out, I would buy and read it to support them. It's sad.
