Just finished loading KY-0032 POTA log and my HF ZF2AE/ZF8 log from Little Cayman. I managed close to 400 contacts from EK99wp. I am now on Grand Cayman. I will look at some POTA locations over the coming days. Happy July 4th to my US ops.

The POTA33 is up but the wind is giving it a work out. Tuning up ok on most bands. I'll try to get on after FD and lunch. 15m is smoking hot here in EK99wp. I'll probably try FT8/FT4. This will not be POTA activation today. TTUL 73 ZF2AE/ZF8

@N4AKV_ @AA5UK I decided not to bring the gear this year to keep the weight down. I have scuba gear too. Next time I go back and with more live sats I'll bring the radios.

Devastating morning. Our beloved Coco the DX Doberman was hit by a car and died of her injuries on the way to the hospital. 3 months short of her 2nd birthday. Recovery will be long and difficult.

Please let me know if anybody has any good recommendations for Band-pass filters Looking for 20m, 40m, 15m, and 17m, preferably nothing very expensive.

@mwfoutch1 Topic was covered years ago on X. Word from the manufacturer was that you can run more power and many have had success even over 10W SSB. Don't remember the exact power number. I have killed one by running 100W FM. For that power level a MFJ or Diamond duplexer is better.

Suggestion for improvement: Please add "0.5W Max RF Power Input" to the label on this product. It might help keep boneheads like me from trying to send 100W RF through this item. #hamradio
