In Art, we explored and captured different patterns and textures around the school. @ManorSalisbury

We have been reading ‘The Disgusting Sandwich’. We even made our own disgusting sandwich and tomorrow we are going to be writing instructions on how to make one!! @ManorSalisbury

It was such an exciting morning for us because we received letters from our Year 1 selves! 😁 We read letters that we wrote before starting Year 2 about our goals and aspirations for the year. We then replied to our letters. 📝 Our progress in writing has left us in awe! 🤩

In English, we wrote a setting description based on Chingford Library. In Maths, we used coins to make a given amount in different ways. Our iPad battery did not survive and we were not allowed to charge it to take pictures of this learning! 😮 @ManorSalisbury @SM_MrsP

It was also ‘No Electricity Day’. We kick started the day by playing a range of exciting board games! We then took our learning outside and drew Rangoli patterns in the playground. @ManorSalisbury @SM_MrsP

Yesterday was “Break the Rules Day”. We broke the rules by wearing our own clothes, with temporary tattoos and by eating our favourite snacks at break time! 😝 @ManorSalisbury
