@MorrellsHand My 11 year old struggles with cursive - his writing is illegible. I asked school since yr 3 to allow him to write in print. They refuse. Their focus is SATs & said the LA insists on cursive - LA said they do not. Where in DFE guidance does it insist on the cursive style?
