I'm going through the Senior Bowl RB production profiles. Jonah Coleman's receiving profile was a pleasant surprise. There’s a good chance he earns 3-4 targets per game in the NFL. However, his Career Scrimmage Yards per Team Play was just 1.16. Kinda concerning. I've only been charting this stat for two years. Here's a list of RBs to fall at or below that threshold last year:

Hey, can I say the conflict with Iran is a war now? Asking for a friend as I took so much heat from some people when it started. I assume since the President keeps calling it a war now I can too. I mean unless the angry MAGA people feel like telling me I am wrong again

@hype_phinest @SigmundBloom Cardinals, Giants, Titans, or Browns. Giants and Browns have new coaches who will want their own guys. Judkins is great, but he and Love wouldn't be a surprise to me if Monken pulled the trigger.

Guess which team that doesn't have a Week 1 starting RB on the roster right now was rumored to be willing to trade for Achane last season?
David Voth@DMVoth

@SigmundBloom I'm guessing Achane gets traded as well

@ZKantzFF @SigmundBloom Washington and Seattle would be great landing spots. But for all that, the Commanders can just draft Love. Minnesota would be crazy with Achane on the roster.

@DaveKluge @dwainmcfarland @4WhomJBellTolls Among 129 qualified 2025 WRs + RBs (min. 69 targets), Eli Heidenreich finished: • 1st in PFF receiving grade • 1st in Y/RR (4.72) • 2nd in Y/R (19.1) On 16 contested targets, he secured 13 (81.3%). No other receiver with 16+ contested looks posted a higher catch rate.

@ZKantzFF @dwainmcfarland @4WhomJBellTolls Yeah, he wasn’t just running gadgety routes or working as a checkdown option in college either. He was lining up out wide and catching the ball downfield. Really unique player.

Eli Heidenreich *might* play RB in the NFL, but his slotback position at Navy was really a WR. 75% route participation rate 11.5 average depth of target 10% designed rush rate Feels like there is an equal or better he is a slot WR who gets a few carries and some jet sweeps? IDK

@dwainmcfarland For this year’s rookie guide, I did RBs and @4WhomJBellTolls did WRs. We sent Heidenreich back and forth to each other a few times trying to decide what he was. I eventually wrote up the report and comped him to Chris Hogan.

He fascinates me and his production profile is eye popping. Among 129 qualified 2025 WRs + RBs (min. 69 targets), Eli Heidenreich finished: • 1st in PFF receiving grade • 1st in Y/RR (4.72) • 2nd in Y/R (19.1) On 16 contested targets, he secured 13 (81.3%). No other receiver with 16+ contested looks posted a higher catch rate. Led Navy with a 44% tgt share in 2025. Not a big interior runner. Hope he can prove himself in that facet. If not, he might have to excel as a slot in the NFL to provide value.

@ZKantzFF I thought people would be focused on Tank Dell over Jaylin Noel. But Noel is my sleeper breakout candidate. While others focus on Dell, I’m stashing Noel. Seems like you are letting the secret out early lol.

My thoughts on Travis Etienne signing with the New Orleans Saints: Fantasy takeaway: Etienne lands in a starting role but projects more as a middling RB2. Etienne signed a four-year, $52 million contract with the New Orleans Saints. The move strongly suggests the Saints will either trade Alvin Kamara or designate him as a post-June 1st cut. That move would free roughly $19–20 million in cap space in 2026 while pushing about $18 million in dead cap into 2027. Kamara struggled significantly as an interior runner in 2025 and also saw a decline in receiving volume. However, the gap between Kamara and Etienne last season was smaller than many might expect. According to Next Gen Stats, Kamara actually posted a higher rushing success rate than Etienne. Meanwhile, in Jacksonville, Etienne’s fantasy production was heavily boosted by receiving touchdowns.  Six of his 13 touchdowns came through the air. Those scores accounted for roughly 14 percent of his total fantasy production. New Orleans also ranked 26th in running back targets last season. Replacing that production will be difficult unless Etienne receives significant goal-line opportunities, which should be hard to come by. Due to their poor offense, New Orleans ranked dead last in carries inside the opponent's five-yard line. That will very likely prove to be the same in 2026. Fantasy action: Etienne should be viewed as a mid-range RB2 unless the Saints significantly change their offensive philosophy.

@RayGQue This can be very damning for draft capital. Especially fringe Day 2 guys like Coleman.

pretty disappointing that we aren't getting any confirmed times from the two Washington players (Boston).

#Washington RB Jonah Coleman only participated in positional work at Pro Day today, per multiple scouts in attendance.

He and Tuten complement each other. Rodriguez lacks Tuten's long speed but has better play strength. And if we’re talking about athleticism paired processing, C Rod might have the edge there, too.

@ZKantzFF This kid is much better than Washington gave him credit for. Never really had a chance to show what he could do with 15-20 carries per game.
