The Flyers! The scumbags! Pittsburgh dominates overtime and can’t beat Vladar. What a shot by Cam York and Philly is onto the second round. What a game
Something you don't see every day:
• The Flyers iced the puck at the end of a 2-minute shift for nearly ALL 5 skaters
• There was a delay because Trevor Zegras went to the bench with skate issues
• Flyers tried sending a rested Noah Cates in his place, but the officials weren't having it
• Zegras LEFT and went down the tunnel, and had to be replaced by Christian Dvorak anyway...
And the Pens were obviously NOT happy 😵💫😅
After finally losing a playoff game last night, the Flyers need to have a difficult internal conversation today before heading back to Pittsburgh.
They need to bench Matvei Michkov - and I believe they will.
My story from @OnPattison:

49ers GM John Lynch to reporters today about their plans for Brandon Aiyuk: “We're available. Give us a call. And like I said earlier, I think it's the prudent thing to do. He’s an extremely talented player. He's been an extremely effective player in our league; situation didn't work itself out here. That's not to say that it can't be rekindled somewhere else. And we'd be happy to do something with anyone if the opportunity presented itself.”
@Coach_Yac Why is everyone on here acting like they are some sort of expert? Because you looked at some dumb draft board? Or heard something some analysts said? Last time I checked none of you run a NFL team, so STFU and stand by your team.
@insiderJmoney@iloveballsalot Give us our first back, another 1st, one of your top prospects, another one of your top prospects and a mid round draft pick
Porter Martone is the type of player that attracts free agents and top prospects to your team. There has to be a Number 1 Center who wants to join him here in Philly.

@AdamSchefter@eliteloyaltysp San Francisco just paid top dollar for a guy who will inevitably tweak a hamstring in week three and spend half the season rehabbing. Brock Purdy better learn how to scramble because throwing that much money at a soon to be thirty eight year old tackle is pure comedy
49ers and 12-time Pro-Bowl LT Trent Williams reached agreement today on a two-year, $50 million extension that now contractually ties him to San Francisco through the 2027 season, per @eliteloyaltysp.
