Graspop used to be my favorite place on earth but I’m strongly considering ditching it next year. It’s called Graspop metal meeting, not Graspop emo & rock meeting.

I’m genuinely kind of pissed off at Graspop for how unbelievably terrible next year’s lineup is. It has nothing to do with bands not touring because look at other lineups of nearby festivals next summer. It has everything to do with Graspop having no respect for metal whatsoever.

When you colonize half the world for herbs and spices yet your national dish is fucking stamppot, you know your people have serious mental problems on a fundamental level. Few nationalities have less respect for food than the Dutch and it makes me sad.

Again though, I feel no repentance regarding my past. I’ve encountered more than a few very interesting and unusual experiences. Kinda makes me feel like Joey Diaz now, having a mental archive rife with stories of wild adventures through drug-fueled recklessness.

March of this year is when the final straw fell and I definitively decided I’d had enough of my bullshit. Ever since that decision I’ve been feeling the happiest I’ve felt since I was 17. I’m 23 now and I finally love my life again after years of directionless misery.

The downside to finally getting my shit together and becoming a hard-working, responsible and happy person is realizing just how utterly insane and unhinged I was the last 5 years. No regrets tho, my life has been everything but boring lol.

I haven’t played much Smash at all since I got my disability but I just wanna say that if you play Bayonetta I still hate you

@Balrjr1 Yeah I think the best case scenario is a revolution within Russia but I don’t think that’s gonna happen anytime soon if ever

@ZTO_ssb Of course we can experiment with just hoping the Putin Regime collapses when he actually mobilizes the Russian population rather than rely on prisoners/mercenaries/north koreans/career soldiers But the EU would also have to fully mobilize for them to get the manpower advantage

The current world situation is exactly why history class is so important. This is Sudetenland all over again. Chamberlain made a territorial deal with Nazi Germany in 1938, because the Western world fatally underestimated Hitler. I don’t think I need to explain how the rest went.

@Balrjr1 Fuck the Abrams we need more Bradleys. Most Ukrainians consider the Bradley by far their favorite tank and for many good reasons. If Rutte can find a way to buy some Bradleys that would be sick

@Balrjr1 In Russia’s case, these numbers are literally just that: numbers. Their equipment fails constantly. Their tanks are poorly built death traps. Their jets are extremely outdated. And don’t forget, their strongest and most important warship of the black sea was sunk by 2 torpedoes.

@ZTO_ssb There used to be a time where Germany alone had more relevant armoured divisions (even though we moved past that doctrine) than Russia Now Russia outnumbers a whole European coalition 4:1 on tanks (still needed for Offensives)

@Balrjr1 I disagree. I think Germany, Poland, France and UK together would give the Russians a million reasons to never try and pull any of this shit again. The Russian army has already been depleted to a level of desperation, they would get absolutely decimated.

@Balrjr1 Russia still milks the fact they drove the Nazis out and uses it as a key example of the supposed greatness of the nation and the importance of being brave warriors. Except they lost over 10 million soldiers and that huge disregard for human life is the only reason they won that

@ZTO_ssb The Wehrmacht was also the strongest army in WW1 and even argueable stronger since they beat the Russians in that one and were for economic/political reasons collapsed Russia's army is overrated since WW2 but also in juxtaposition to Western Europe being pacifist for 7 decades

@Balrjr1 I feel like Europe will get personally involved this year. Trump is trying to sell out Ukraine, while Rutte is only pushing for more defense. Zelensky will refuse any deal Trump and Putin make, and with the very realistic chance of the US quitting NATO, we can do whatever we want

@ZTO_ssb Outside the fact I am seeing a discussion about sending troops to Ukraine 2 years after the fact of Zaluzhny's 2nd offensive (1st one was the succesfull offensive in Kharkiv Oblast) Europe should have sent Troops in 2023 during the Zaporozhey offensive when Ukraine had momentum

@Balrjr1 This is also what separates Putin from Hitler. Hitler’s army was the most advanced the world had ever seen, nobody stood a chance. Putin’s army is a literal comedy show. But that doesn’t change how cautious we need to be. Their strength isn’t in weapons but in brainwashed sadists
