Our popular rVADfast method for unsupervised, fast, and noise-robust voice activity detection (rVAD) is now available as a python package. The rVADfast package is easily installable via "pip install rVADfast". Thank Holger Severin Bovbjerg for compiling the python package!

@infinite_apesML Music can be produced by different instruments, so it requires a relatively complex model to model music signals. One could train a model for speech or music classification.

@infinite_apesML Thank you for your interest in our voice activity detection software. We don't consider music particularly. A segment of music could be detected by VAD as either speech (e.g., if the music segment contains singing voice) or non-speecch.
