Please remember my talent in music does not come from one side alone. Creativity runs through my bloodline in ways people could never fully understand. My father was a producer, lyricist, and dreamer before he was ever just โ€œmy dad.โ€ He knew exactly what I was capable of long before I did. And the painful part? Watching gifted Black artists have their work taken, repackaged, and profited from while theyโ€™re left with the grief of what couldโ€™ve been. My father and his friends never saw what their art was truly worth. So if I move quietly, stay to myself, and protect my gifts, understand thereโ€™s history behind that. Thereโ€™s generational heartbreak behind that. I carry both the talent and the pain.

But now, I donโ€™t have my fatherโ€ฆthe very person who taught me how to create artistically. Producer, lyricist, dreamerโ€ฆ stage name Tsunami. My dad had huge dreams, and I still remember one of his raps word for word to this DAY. Thatโ€™s why I move the way I do. I am what remains of those dreams. I am my fatherโ€™s legacy living in real time.

Message of the day: I think part of my legacy is breaking emotional cycles I didnโ€™t create. Growing up with a lack of affection from the very person I came out of taught me how deeply emotional neglect can shape someone. It made me crave softness, reassurance, and safety in ways I didnโ€™t fully understand for years. Now I want my legacy to be different. I want the people I love to feel seen, emotionally safe, heard, and deeply cared forโ€ฆ.never like they have to earn tenderness from me.

I truly believe we have platonic and romantic soulmates in this lifetime that refuse to do the right thing, so we get re-routed to the next until someone treats us right.
