This NOT good parenting
Only the emotionally insecure would suggest this is “good”.
- Child is overweight
- Spouses are divided
- Priorities are fucked
- The dad seems soft while the wife seems hard (I can’t explain why, but I see it, clothing color and tone?)
Bottom line, the dad threw a temper tantrum like a kid.
This isn’t a strong father; this is a weak man flexing power over the only person in the room he’s stronger than.
This is weak as hell.
There’s ways to prevent and correct this, they all start with you taking responsibility for the role you’ve played.

My kids don’t know shit about mainstream news, and that’s why they’re smart as fuck.
Everyone has this air of faux-courage and faux-intelligence to them.
I see dudes posting shit about Epstein and politicians all the time, and have literally not done a damn thing else in their life with the knowledge they have.
No riots, no killings, no movements led…
People don’t care, they pretend to to be involved in the discussion; let it go, there is grass somewhere near you, go lay in it.

Coach said all the right things over the fall and winter. First game, really interesting lineup decisions. Then nothing changed over next 4-5 games. Became pretty clear who the favorites were. And do more digging, became clear it was all political and nothing to do with skills or abilities.

Baseball season is in full swing.
My son left public school to gain more control over his life, and part of that meant trying out for a new baseball organization for homeschooled kids.
He made the team, was named the starting catcher, and is having the time of his life.
He works 20hours with me at the Landscaping/Hardscaping company
Lives in the gym
Plays the game he loves
Living his best life, free from the indoctrination and wasted hours of public education.
Homeschool your kids;
they will not miss out on anything. The path has grown too large, and people are creating more resources for homeschooled kids every month.
For example, my wife is creating a Cheerleading program for our local homeschool community, so homeschool girls can get the full experience, and the homeschool boys will now have cheerleaders at their games.

Whenever I ran practice for whatever sport I was coaching, I always reminded myself,
"This may be the best part of this kid's day, don't ruin it."

@ZacSmall_ Love it. We followed same plan as y’all: my homeschool 8th grade son made JV1. Coach wouldn’t give him a fair shake on playing time. Politics even in homeschool baseball. Making a change.

I am a photographer
One of the reasons I enjoy the craft so much is that it is straight magic.
We mined the Earth, polished glass, added in tech, and now we can freeze a moment of time.
As every parent knows, time doesn’t stop, but it’s nice to have moments to reflect upon.
This shit happens quick, make sure you’re taking the time to be present.

Normalize gassing up strangers.
Saw a dude at the grocery store earlier with his son, had to be around 3 years old and he was making the kid laugh by blowing some bubbles into his fountain drink he’d carried in and high fiving the kid every time.
I told him he was a great dad and it looked like it made his day.
