I can tell some people didn’t even read the article and just saw the term “AI” and assumed it’s generative and replacing art
It’s being used as a tool to assist in ways that can cause less crunch and stress on the devs or artists

As we previously reported, a new interview confirms Epic Games is using generative AI to help develop #Fortnite, including with art-related tools 🎨 "Epic has been exploring different AI tooling that we can use to help support our games," Stephanie Arnette, senior external development manager on Fortnite, said in a recent interview reported by GamesRadar. "I know everyone's biggest fear is, 'Oh my god, AI is going to take all our jobs.' That's not our goal. The goal is to make us more efficient."
