People also forget that DA inherited a lot of talent that wasn’t ideal for his scheme. And while it’s frustrating no EDGE help was drafted, he did get several players in FA & this draft *FAR* better suited to execute his scheme. Speed being a big factor in all of them. I understand the frustration with Poles, but DA has only been here a year. As a reminder for fans, it took Vic Fangio 3 years to build a good defense when he arrived. And it only became a #1 defense after they traded for Mack in Fangio’s Year 4 as DC in 2018. Pace didn’t trade for a Mack-type in Fangio’s Y1 or Y2. They had to build the foundation, and as it’s worked out in DA’s case, Poles/Ben/DA prioritized landing a steal for a rock star in Thieneman — a rare safety tailor-made for DA’s scheme — over a less of a home run EDGE that would have been available to them at 25. That is hopefully coming next season. Rome wasn’t built in a day. And as with Fangio, the continuity of coaching takes time to work its magic.

Da shouldnt be going anywhere for a while. And we know ben isnt leaving so its great to go into each offseason with that kind of coaching continuity. Every year same system. Same voice.

My own break 100 90 80 around the green 🧵 Break 100 -Use putter whenever possible. 56 degree if not. -For the bump and run with 56 Feet together. Feet about 1ft from the ball. Hands ahead of the ball and feel like it’s the body doing all the work. No hands no wrist. -Don’t worry about getting it super close. Focus on good contact. (For good contact hands have to stay ahead and head to stay tall)
