That happens when you’ve played the most games and have carried the most burden on both sides of the ball, even with the bad offensive finals, he was still statistically the most clutch player in the playoffs throughout the whole run, you’re using a very tiny and noisy sample size to depict his flaws.

he was the best player in the 1st-98th percentile high leverage moments he had a great analytical run because he’s a great player i know you’re big in analytics, but there’s some things it can’t measure and i think wemby’s weaknesses struggle to get captured by them running out of stamina in the 4th quarter is a big one

i feel like the “idea of wemby” is a much better player than wemby himself a 7’6 guard who is the best defender ever and has a jumper is a great idea but in reality wemby gets tired every game, wore out in the playoffs, settles for jumpers, and still can’t defend guards 1on1

Chet also has real oTS impact, which stands up to the postseason test. He's a genuinely great lob threat in the dunker spot and has been great as a roll man his whole career. A 0.27 3pr isn't ideal but more than enough to exert positive downstream effects on his teams rim access

Scottie Barnes Also creating the most efficient looks on offense at the 98th percentile shows true pressure at the rim, not just volume playmaking. It’s time we respect Scottie Barnes as a top 15 player in this association.
