Remember: Brady was the 199th player picked in 2000. 7th QB taken. He was not Elway or Peyton coming into NFL. Who kept him as 4th string QB as rookie and developed him? Who made decision to keep Bledsoe on bench after he recovered from life-threatening injury in '01? Pats in early years of dynasty were defense-first team. Don Shula is considered by some as greatest coach in NFL history. Why is it he's never been criticized for having all-time top 5 QB Dan Marino for 13 seasons and never winning SB and getting to just one (in Marino's second season) and losing by 22 points?
