Just some random thoughts: - The Spurs are so good. I think Castle & Harper are stars. I think Vassell and Champagnie are Championship necessary role players. Wemby is Wemby. - Spurs over the Knicks in 6? - Injuries suck. They happen. They mattered a lot. - Chet stuff can’t go ignored. He looked timid this series. I have no words for tonight. idk, man. - The Shai narrative throughout the Playoffs felt gross. It wasn’t fair to him as a player or as a man, IMO. Honestly shocked how many media members I respect bought into the engagement baiting. - No doubt in my mind this team is a top tier contender next year. - So impressed with the character of this team. Typically it’s a $25,000 fine for violating media obligations. Typically players get suspended or fined for elbowing opponents in the throat.

The referees were correct in denying Mitch Johnson that challenge. The rule is very specific: he needs to first call timeout, then challenge. He never signaled for the timeout before signaling for the challenge.

OKC is -1 in the 25 minutes vs. Wemby OKC is +9 in the 11 minutes vs. Kornet The Thunder are doing what they need to do by staying close when Wembanyama is out there and by dominating the minutes when he's not. The Spurs really can't let Wemby rest for the entire 4th quarter.
