@skarloeyrl @piplupdabest @TheBopPops Some players just don’t blend well together from playstyles, languages if it’s relevant, Joreuz had just moved to NA I think for this roster, etc. Also Nick’s reputation as a coach isn’t great across all his teams in the past so lots of factors to consider

@JacobheadJh @thethiny @UTFR_Rad @TW0HEADEDBEAST Comes from WB deadlines most likely, mk games have had a 4 year cycle since mk9 and it leads to short content cycles and the game being dropped within 2 years compared to sf and tekken which get to last nearly a decade each game. Just makes me wish I dropped mk sooner after mk1

@thethiny @UTFR_Rad @TW0HEADEDBEAST I'm quite sure mk is considered a worse franchise because the devs rush it and try to recreate the wheel every game instead of sticking to something and building on it. Hence why mk1 was so clearly unfinished

@HellaLarry13 I’m convinced rain in MK1 was a reskinned aqua man & we were gonna get an injustice game instead they pivoted to MK at the last minute for a cash grab. His movesets all look like stuff aquaman would do instead of moves like this.

@KudosOnYT If Odyssey is there so is Origins imo, it did the rpg style great for the first time (though leveling up was a bit slow) and it still felt like assassin’s creed compared to Odyssey and Valhalla which stray too far away I feel
