Spent the afternoon building a bridge between Claude Code and Cursor. Both tools talk to the same MCP relay server. A /handoff slash command in either one posts a structured message (current file, last commit, what I was doing, what's next) to a per-project thread. The other tool picks up from there on session start. I thought this would be a weekend. Took an afternoon. Turns out the two tools are actually good at different things. Being able to route a subtask to whichever one handles it best, instead of grinding through with whichever one I opened first, is the real win. Portability was a side effect. Anthropic's been great about feedback. Filed a request to make this cleaner long-term. Manual version works fine in the meantime.
