As the World Cup draws to a close and Argentina makes it to the final match, I’ve noticed something: A lot of the online hatred toward Argentina comes from resentment toward its European heritage and success. Argentina is overwhelmingly of European descent, mostly Christian, and has built a more orderly society than many of its neighbors. It also excels at soccer and produces striking cultural confidence. That combination draws envy from people who resent Western achievement and European roots. The same pattern appears in attacks on America and Europe. When a country embraces its heritage, maintains order, and succeeds, it becomes a target for those who define themselves by grievance rather than accomplishment. Argentina gets the hate because it refuses to apologize for being capable and rooted in its actual history.

Algerian secularists love to talk about muh wahabism destroyed us and that Saudi Arabia backed Islamists when they actually backed them secular FLN and their kaffir god nezzar lmaoo all accusations are just an admission of guilt indeed
Warfare Analysis@warfareanalysis

The Saudi role in the coup against the will of the people in Algeria: Khaled Nezzar was an Algerian who fought against the Algerian Revolution in the French colonial army until April 27, 1958 He later became a general in the Algerian Army and was appointed Minister of Defense in July 1990. On October 5, 1988, during massive protests in Algiers, the army opened fire on young protesters advocating for local representation and democracy, resulting in the killing of hundreds of civilians. The then Commander of the Land Forces , Khaled Nezzar, stated: “We didn’t have rubber bullets.” In 1989, the doors were opened for the formation of political parties, and the first local elections in Algeria’s history were held on June 12, 1990 In July 1990 Khaled Nezzar became a Minister of National Defence in 1991 the country held its first pluralistic parliamentary elections. The Islamic Salvation Front (FIS), a conservative party, won the first round of voting by a large margin. On January 11, 1992, President Chadli Bendjedid “resigned”, In January 1992, the army, led by General Khaled Nezzar and other senior officers, almost all of whom had served in the ranks of the French colonial army during the Algerian War of Independence, canceled the electoral process before the second round, and the FIS leadership was arrested. The coup plunged Algeria into a decade-long civil war marked by multiple armed groups, mass killings, enforced disappearances, and widespread atrocities. One of the most notorious massacres was the Bentalha massacre on September 22–23, 1997. The massacre was officially attributed to Islamist militants. However, this account has been disputed by survivors and researchers, including those cited in the book Who Killed in Bentalha? by survivor Nesroullah Yous, who questioned the official narrative. What does this have to do what Al-Saud ? Khaled Nezzar, the general who led the coup and served as defense minister at the time, wrote on pages 270–271 of his memoirs: “I was invited to visit Saudi Arabia by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd, after the assassination of President Boudiaf. I met senior princes and also met King Fahd for two hours. After advising me to unite the Algerians, he began speaking about the Islamists. He first said, ‘These people are not Muslims,’ then said, ‘The stick… the stick… the stick…’ repeating it three times.” Khaled Nezzar then tells how King Fahd told him about meeting FIS leaders Abbassi Madani and Ali Belhadj in Saudi Arabia shortly after Iraq invaded Kuwait. Ali Belhadj offered to bring him one million fighters from Algeria should the king reject Western military intervention. Nezzar says the king rejected the offer and mockingly added: “It was the first time I had seen Ali Belhadj. His unpleasant physical appearance reflected nothing but his lack of familiarity with a civilized way of life.” Nezzar continued: “Despite his age and the weight of the years upon him, I left deeply impressed by my meeting with the king, who accompanied me outside the hall, demonstrating the great respect he held for our country.” He added: “I returned to Algeria with Saudi-funded projects, despite the burdens that the Gulf War had placed on the country.” News reports at the time spoke of Saudi Arabia providing $3 billion to the coup regime, which desperately needed the money.
