You could literally do everything right in trading and still end up in a LOOSING STREAK!!!! Trading is such a tricky profession because the EXACT SAME METHOD you used to PASS MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS and get MULTIPLE PAYOUTS could literally fail and have you questioning if you know what you’re doing. Loosing streaks in trading are inevitable. Infact, sometimes they even occur more often than wins. Every single trader at some point, have found themselves in this endless loop of total confusion because the exact same method that has proven to work countless times suddenly just stops working. There’s quite a healthy number of factors that cause loosing steaks and they could range from tricky economic activities like Wars or personal sabotage like terrible emotions during these events. What helps me keep my head up during times like these is realizing that just like winning streaks, loosing streaks happen and the only control I have is RISK MANAGEMENT. Having enough data on your method should give you so much confidence that you know that if you keep the same risk and encounter a loosing streak, it’s only a matter of time before it evens out and you’re up and out of it. If you have a system that provides you with an average of 3R per winning trade and you have let’s say a 7 trade loosing streak, just keep executing with the same risk. All you need is 2-3 winning trades and you’re literally out of whatever L streak you’re in. The people who win in trading are those who play the long game.
