Thank you for sharing this information. I hope more people, especially doctors, learn about this. In many cases, these reactions start with medications prescribed by doctors, and it can be very difficult to question or convince them when they believe the medication is appropriate. I had a very severe experience that completely changed my life. My child only had a runny nose, but the doctor prescribed antibiotics. After just one spoonful, the situation became much worse. To make a long story short, my child now has lifelong allergies to medications. My child went through about seven skin surgeries and suffered from both SJS (Stevens-Johnson Syndrome) and TEN (Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis). Based on my experience, it is extremely important for doctors to know not only when to prescribe medication, but also when not to.
