A grand jury issued a warrent for his arrest that eventually led to the arrest by the Bloomington Police Department. Blessent was indicted on multiple counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child under 13. A second set of charges involving another victim followed ​This case isn’t just about the charges; it’s about the systematic abuse of power and the devastating impact on victims.  Blessent pleaded guilty to: Two counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Victim Under 13. One count of Grooming. Sentence: On the same day, Blessent was sentenced to 42 years on each of the two assault counts and 3 years on the grooming count, for a total of 87 years in prison (sentences run consecutively). Blessent must serve at least 85% of the sentence and will not be eligible for parole until 2095. There is this crew on TikTok — I don’t know whether to call them “sharp boys” or straight-up thieves .Here’s how the scam works:They post things like: “Why sleep on an empty stomach when you can nyongesha wazungu?”They have a WhatsApp group where they target desperate ladies. Once a girl sees the post, she’s directed to the group. In the group, the admins (some using US numbers, others Kenyan) post daily fake screenshots of payments to PayPal or bank accounts, like: “Jane, payment received DM your M-Pesa number for your share.”Then another post follows: “We have 5 ready clients . If you can handle them, here are the instructions…”They tell the girls they must have a US number. If you don’t have one, DM the admin (who conveniently has a US WhatsApp number and a fake white guy profile picture ).Most girls don’t have a US number, so they end up contacting the admin. That’s when the washing (scamming )begins.The admin offers to sell you a US number for around 5000 Kenyan shillings. You send the money via M-Pesa… and that’s it — you’re cooked .They don’t even block you. If you wait a bit and message “I’m still waiting,” they reply with pure audacity: “Waiting for what? You’ve been washed… I’m a conman.”Ladies, stay guided
