I’ve worked all my life, I didn’t stay at home with the kids my parents helped us out. I’ve paid all my dues a full stamp 2/2

The minimum wage is around £26,000. The state pension is £11,000. And the elite talk about the triple lock? We expect our pensioners, who can't typically work, to live on less than half of the minimum wage. It is outrageous and cruel in my view. #skynews #gbnews #bbcnews

A message to all my brother Andrew's #AndyKershaw friends, fans and supporters Hiya, Our Andrew was a force of nature. But, on the evening of Thursday April 16th, a very aggressive cancer finally found his Off Switch. Throughout his illness and the last 9 months of treatment he never complained. He was stoic and positive to the end. His courage shone through. When he announced he was determined to walk again he did. Through his usual bloody mindedness, sheer grit, and hard work. His sense of humour never waned. When he was told he might lose his hair he sent off for a selection of jaunty hats. His consultant says she’s never had a patient who worked so hard to help himself and was so inspiring Even when in discomfort, pain, and fear, he was charming and kind to everyone who cared for him. I know how much his website and his podcast meant to him. Thank you for sticking with him when he was unable to update it any more. His producer Peter and I hope to keep it, and all that is so uniquely Andy within it, alive in his memory. Peter will be posting previously unheard material And I will be sharing news of a memorial event our family is working on with many of the musicians he loved and who wish to honour the support he gave them over his 6 decades in music promotion and media (1978 - 2026) We will do him proud. It is heartbreaking and hard to take in that my blue eyed little brother is gone. But very very comforting that he is certainly not forgotten. Your messages from all over the world really helped to keep him going. And now they are a huge comfort to his family Thank you Our Elizabeth

Go to Luton. Go to Rochdale. Go to Bradford. Go to Tower Hamlets. Jim Ratcliffe is right - it has been colonised by immigrants. That’s just a fact. No point pussyfooting around it. Streets and streets of entire families unable to speak in English, not working, not contributing - living under parallel legal systems. It’s not even multiculturalism in some of these areas. There is one culture - Islam. They do not want to live by the same rules as the rest of us. They choose not to be policed as the rest of us. So they’re not. What has that led to? We all know. Britain increasingly resembles the third world. And with demographic changes, birthrates and immigration transforming our country as they are? That is a process which will only accelerate unless drastic action is taken. I speak to MPs, plenty agree with me in private. They are, however, unwilling to say so publicly. That needs to change, urgently. The backlash for stating these obvious facts is aggressive, so MPs don’t do it. The intimidation works, it’s effective. But I don’t need the job, I don’t need the money. I’m just going to carry on telling the truth. Let's continue to kick the shit out of the Overton window - that is step one. Ratcliffe is right. And I respect him for having the balls to say it.

@rodbishop15 Exactly and all you get is, you’ve contributed to the previous generation, that money has gone. The key word though, is contributed, we’re not just taking. I get £900 a month to live on thanks to this rise, I dont think that’s excessive, having paid in all these years.
