Here’s a vid of some experiments I did in Apple Vision Pro to see how well models, and converted 2d to 3d spatial videos would look in apple’s ecosystem. We all know how difficult it is sometimes to have the models show like they do in our native art program. Took a bit of work but they are good to go! Vid features VRart models, my attempts at spline animations and videos I converted to spatial. I am really into the spatial videos. Amazing how it bleeds into and interacts with the Apple 360 environment esp with some of my trippy vids. Still working out the kinks in a lot of things but we’re making progress!!! 🙌. AI is causing too much mental stimulation for creators and tech companies…they are losing FOCUS. Between traditional creators, AI agents, new software and tech. It’s getting crazy out there. Overstimulation is Oversaturation. You’ll see soon enough. It’s exponential.

According to @grok money was never an issue to float it: “Meta Platforms (META) generated $200.97 billion in total revenue for the full year 2025 “ “This marked a 22% increase year-over-year from $164.50 billion in 2024.” With AI in the mix, I’m sure it will replace jobs as well, so its not the money, it’s the vision.

Every so often, another clickbait headline shows up trying to dunk on XR. It is tiring. Let’s just stick to the facts. Horizon Worlds VR probably cost around $2 billion at most. Start from the top. Reality Labs had around 14,000 people before. After the layoffs in January, it still has more than 10,000 people, and the core work is still going on. That includes headsets, glasses, operating systems, new hardware, foundational research, first-party content, and developer relations. Within that, the broader Horizon-related team was probably around 2,000 people, including people working on the OS, the VR app, the mobile app, and the engine side. If you narrow it all the way down to just the Horizon Worlds VR product, and even round up generously, call it 500 people. Then assume a very high annual cost of $1 million per person. That gets you to around $500 million a year. Over five years, that is roughly $2.5 billion. And that old early screenshot people keep reposting was just a temporary build from an earlier stage. It was updated pretty quickly after that. There has absolutely been real criticism of Horizon Worlds inside the industry, but in the end, that is a product problem, not some sweeping verdict on XR. People should stop overreading it. A lot of this is just exaggerated for headlines, clicks, and engagement.

no I struggle with R1/R2, L1/L2. As an OG gamer on PS, R1/L1 was always primary, R2/L2 was always secondary. Its actually faster to shoot in FPS games because of a shorter throw. XBox was opposite and now they all are R2/L2 primary as default. So, I have to invert controls with every new game that allows it.

@LifeArtStudios lol true but it at least got people interested in building. 🤷‍♀️ It was seriously limited when you can’t bring in your own assets and they force you to build with primitives. Lack of using a serious game engine to build was a no go for me.

@NathieVR Meta was constantly pushing that they're all-in on this platform as the future of VR. Imagine those who actually drank the Kool-aid & built a bunch of custom worlds that they're proud of only for Meta to completely tear everything down in a couple of years. Classic big tech.

NVIDIA just announced some big updates for gaming on Apple Vision Pro. Starting March 19, headset streaming jumps from 60 FPS to 90 FPS. Later this spring, CloudXR 6.0 for visionOS will bring stereoscopic PC streaming to Vision Pro at up to 4K 120 FPS with foveated streaming. Just arrived at GTC and excited to see what else NVIDIA has in store.

@JamesEdwards Very cool project to be part of. thats awesome. Jump in! The tools have gotten so much better. Modeler changed medium a bit when Adobe took it over but is still intuitive and a huge improvement.

@ZandyXR Yeah I last used medium while working on The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners. After that project I ended up at another studio so no more VR. Still have my old occulus unit but haven’t used it since then. Seems the tech and tools are still evolving, which is great!
