So much gaming discourse punishes games that are just okay instead of uplifting the ones that are actually good. Games and talking about games should be fun. Thoughtful critique matters just as much as praise. We need more sane posts in the sea of ragebait.

Feels like there are so many of these games, I don't even know exist until I hear they're getting shut down.

I think AI can be interesting but the NVIDIA DLSS 5 clip just completely changes the look of the characters to the point that I can't imagine most people willingly using it.

Is this what they call rage bait?

It's interesting seeing these types of comparisons always popping up. It's nice to be detailed, but more often than not It feels like wasted development time.

It's really interesting that the majority of people chose the bad ending initially according to the REnet stats. I suppose you do have the pressure of being told to do one thing but the video you watch beforehand heavily implies what the correct choice will be.

100% complete RE9 Probably the best RE has been since RE4

It's a shame but it's also the risk you take with these live service games. 90% of them will fail. Studios have to either go really low budget with them or treat them like a gamble.

Finished RE9, absolute cinema

This game looks great on paper but I'm still super sceptical. It being for "content lovers" makes it sound more and more like it'll just be a single player MMO. I'm all for content but it has to be quality content with a strong narrative/direction and I'm not seeing that yet.

Got a new audio interface that I've been playing with for the last week or so and been losing my mind fine tuning the audio and the loudness. It's either too loud for desktop or too quiet for mobile. So if you're on mobile it's time to turn it up.

What have they done to the subscriptions page. Not only do I now need to scroll further down to see the latest posts they also put Ludwig on my front page. Absolutely outraged, YouTube has fallen.

People are looking way too deeply into the new Microsoft Gaming CEO. We aren't going to know where Xbox is going to end up for a while. They're probably just going to continue focusing on services, building cloud out and integrating AI technologies.

Games being a live service isn't necessarily a bad thing, I think there's value in both live service and more traditional game experiences however it does feel like we are seeing a lot of studios and IPs being put to waste on live service gambles which is a shame.

@Kotaku It is a shame what happened with Bluepoint. Bit silly to take it out on Marathon. But even before this there's been a group of people online that have wanted Marathon to fail so it's hard to tell what people are actually serious about.
