Dear zAnons, We are extremely hyped to share an update on the rollout of the revolutionary upcoming Zarcanum hard fork!⚡ 🗓️Dates: New binary release: Feb 15th Hard-fork date: March 15th Before the release (before Feb 15th) 1️⃣Restart the testnet with new: a) decoy selection algo b) fork choice rule c) API refactoring d) 100+ minor changes written in small tickets that we're fixing right now 2️⃣Test transition moment for hard fork 4 in testnet, calculate PoS difficulty change, implement safety trigger for PoS 3️⃣Making sure that sources from HF4 work fine with current mainnet. 4️⃣Finish Confidential Assets paper and CA security proofs and pass it for review 5️⃣Fix all core tests whilst it's in review If review passed and all is working fine -> release on Feb 15th. After release we'll be working more tests and improvements to make sure HF4 will go smooth. The mobile app will be in refactoring and if it won't be refactored by March 15th it might be suspended for a few weeks. March 15th is the estimate hard fork date - after that we'll be working on infrastructural improvements + the new mobile app. Whilst the development team makes all these technical improvements, Zano's marketing division will increase the promotional activities of our platform.
