Game Over. Sorry to tell you this but Zaps is not happening after all. More details are on our homepage zapsco.com We'll keep the Twitter account running as a general Retro Gaming account (because retro games are ace) but we're afraid that the arcade is no more.

@Retro_Throwback Good luck. We tried to set one up in Bournemouth but we couldn’t manage it. Lots of reasons why. Mostly money, local council requirements and how unreliable the machines themselves were (we couldn’t get a quick local repair solution in place).

I still have my dream of opening up a 'Barcade'...getting to play video games of all era's aswell as the bar there if needed 😁. I just worry if anybody would actually want that around or if it would even be a good business?..

We needed some new stuff to decorate the lounge shelves so naturally we embraced a retro gaming theme.

Just dug my Xbox 360 out of storage so I could upload some Cloud Saves. Totally forgot that it had Outrun Online Arcade installed on it. Such a good conversion.

@7Ten They pretty much have all been sold. Some to collectors but others will be out there in the wild.

@ZapsCo Hey guys, out of interest what's happening to the arcade cabs you have? Will stay in a private collection I guess?

Finally added the new control panel to Track and Field today. Looks great!

@7Ten Sorry to hear it man. Your enthusiasm for arcade gaming is a benefit to the community. Having a dip is totally normal though. It’s good to recognise it and take a break as needed. It’ll help loads and when it’s time you’ll feel ready to bounce back.

Taking a break from the arcade for a while. It's burnt me out. I get constant abuse from a minority of people and it's really starting to affect me. Been fighting to improve the arcade for the past 4 years but unfortunately whatever I do isn't good enough for some.

I just dug out my old XBrick copy of GTA: San Andreas. It’s now Xbone compatible plus it gets a free update to the Xbox 360 version. Noice!
