@sakugacontent I never understood what issue people took with this film. Ive yet to see any criticism other than "it wasnt that good". Nobody can point to any scene or dialog or plot point or anything that Ive seen. I thought it was as good as most Ghibli films.

@moonlitheir I think the fact that Eiden doesn’t remember anything and still desperately tries to protect the guys from this unknown danger gives his impulse more weight. But the potential for headcanons is huge.
