1471 has a lot of potential for psychological horror that has remained untapped. Like yeah it never tries to harm you but it also will never leave you alone and I don't think people understand the ramifications of that

even with government interest in mass surveillance with ai, they're not gonna have the money to support a hemorrhaging industry without driving up inflation. Plus none of the citizens want that, and people will sabotage these systems

even if they hyper-monetize their ai models they run the risk of driving people away from using them. Nobody is gonna want to pay to use ai, people only use it because it is (mostly) free. Attach a $10-15/mo price tag and you lose 80% of people.

I have a theory that the AI bubble is purposefully being inflated so it can be leveraged after the 2028 election. Democrat wins, bubble bursts. I don't think they expect a Republican to win in 2028 and are now focused on maximum political damage.
