@Marcodmeatball you know someone's argument is invalid if they start going for personal insults. nuance means nothing for people who are emotionally attached to a gacha game. (especially one they are financially invested to) they treat it as a personal attack. keep going strong mr meatball.

I think it's kind of beautiful seeing people be so passionate about a video game music. I'd prefer the whole not trying to diminish my credentials or the insults about my personhood but hey some people aren't there yet. this is def why I cover gacha games much less on my channel though - my ideal subscriber is a person who is emotionally intelligent and understanding of nuance and the balance between objective and subjective experience. Gacha games have this weird way of perverting the mind and causing people to behave irrationally, at least in certain circles. It's sad though because I've always defended gacha game music despite finding the business practice really gross. I think it's perfectly natural to not like things and to consider some things, shallow, generic, uninspired, while other things to be grand, complex, emotionally interesting, and unique. That kind of nuance is really important. Some people just aren't there yet.
