Yes, watching the interview at the time, many of Flint's key arguments seemed to be incorrect & contradicted by my own casual research at the time. But, he made his claims so brazenly, that there were a few technical points where I had some self-doubt & thought, "Maybe he's correct on this point?" So, I definitely appreciated when others (especially @DeDunkingPast & @ill_Scholar - thanks, guys!) took the time to deep dive into some of Flint's claims over the following weeks & "re-bunk" them. As an aside, watching the interview, I was also struck by how unwilling Flint was to look either Joe or Graham in the eye at any stage - especially when he was directly responding to them.

Every cow on earth is a closed CO₂ loop. Herbivores do not create additional CO₂ or methane. They are CO₂ neutral. Cattle are the world's great grazers and bulk and roughage feeders. Without them, vast areas of global farmland would soon begin to atrophy into mostly lifeless unproductive topsoil, devoid of essential nutrients and bacteria. The carbon cows emit today was pulled out of the air via the grass it ate only months before. It's a constant rolling ledger with no new carbon being added to the global system. Cattle harvest CO₂ from the air via the grass they eat - then use it for energy before returning it to the soil and sky - to be used again and again. There is nothing left over to threaten the planet. This is the biological miracle of CO₂ being recycled. Cattle are not a new source of CO₂ or methane. Through photosynthesis, plants convert atmospheric carbon into carbohydrates (cellulose). Cows eat the grasses, which are cellulose, and through digestion eventually return that carbon to the atmosphere as CO₂ and methane. There is no CO₂ or methane left over to destabilise the atmosphere. Within roughly a decade, the methane breaks back down into CO₂, which the next season’s grass breathes in again.

The war in Ukraine is also an American war. The US toppled the government in Ukraine in 2014, selected its new government, hijacked its intelligence services, built secret CIA bases along the Russian border, armed and trained right-wing groups to attack Donbas and have veto power over Ukrainian voters' demand for peace, cancelled Zelensky's peace mandate in 2019, hijacked its civil society with "NGOs", built a large proxy army in Ukraine, supported the purging of Ukraine's media, political opposition, and the Orthodox Church, and sabotaged the Minsk peace agreement. After Russia invaded, the US sabotaged the Istanbul negotiations, shut down diplomacy, and provided most of the weapons, ammunition, logistics, intelligence, targeting, and war planning for Ukraine. The objective of the US has been the strategic defeat of Russia as a rival centre of power, to be achieved by fighting to the last Ukrainian and the last euro. Suggesting that the US selflessly "helped" Europe in Ukraine is an absurd argument that even contradicts Trump's previous statements that this has been a proxy war provoked by NATO expansionism. Europe should not receive more "help", and NATO should be dissolved.
