@GiussePMusic With metal melodies, I literally jam on the guitar in pure silence, closing your eyes and letting the sound guide you, play absolute trash music until you stumble upon a nice pattern, turn it into power chords and build everything else around that powerful riff.
Aaaaand that’s a wrap! Vocagathering 2026 is officially concluded!
Thank you to everyone who participated, as a producer or viewer! We hope the event sparked at least a bit of joy for you ❤️
Please stay tuned for our wrap-up article and post-event feedback survey!
MUSICIANS can anyone lightly explain and/or link me a video that helped them understand compression/EQ, I just can’t seem to get it right. I use guitar and bass guitar for my music, everything else is done in my DAW.

@ZeXiSCMusic I really like looking at all the different artworks and interpretations of songs! Everyone's creativity fills me with so much hope for the future of Vocaloid! 🩵
NON MUSICIANS: what is your favorite part of vocagathering? I am curious, as a musician myself, I want to know what the community thinks about the event and Vocaloid as a whole.

@inkyanomaly I do like the discoverability of this event! Gives a chance for a lot of people to find new fans within the industry, not at the mercy of algorithms
@ZeXiSCMusic I genuinely love it!! I don't know a thing about what it took for producers to make the songs, but I can tell they all put a lot of effort into making it in time for the event. I also really like how I'm exposed to all these songs and producers that I'm unfamiliar with :)
@nyapurrlitan I really just threw something together last minute for my entry, I had no idea the level of quality people made for their videos in an event like this, one day I want to be able to hire a team for music videos, so far that has been super fun watching everyones!
@ZeXiSCMusic learning what different style of visual mediums, aesthetics and storytelling producers utilize to help enhance rhe quality and human connection with their songs has been really fruitful and interesting!
@DioDrawzz I originally liked the way the voting worked, but I kept getting the same songs every time the website refreshed. I also really am enjoying learning about all the people in the community, I literally started this year so it’s been an experience to say the least!
@ZeXiSCMusic Its really nice getting to see and discover new producers i also enjoyed getting to do art for a song i still wish voting was better i cant even vote when i did finally find the song it gave me an error but its nice to see the whole community participating in something
