Rashford might’ve scored an absolute blinder yesterday, but his decision-making in the easiest moments just isn’t good enough. At Barça, we value control more than relying on individual moments of brilliance. Maybe that’s why Deco wants to spend more on a winger rather than signing Rashford permanently. No doubt he has overperformed as a loan player, and he’s given us some great moments. But expectations were higher for him when Raphinha was injured and we had to face Atletico in the UCL. I believe that if we had a better profile than Rashford in those games maybe someone like Bradley Barcola we would’ve finished those chances. That’s why I believe Barça shouldn’t sign Rashford permanently and should instead go for another loan.
