@nigimmigration Hello I sent a mail to Nigeriahcottawa, requesting for a consideration on my appointment date which is in September meanwhile I was given less than 40days by IRCC to present a new passport and up till this point I'm yet to get any response. Nig immigration needs to look into this

*COMPTROLLER GENERAL OF IMMIGRATION HOSTS IOM CHIEF OF MISSION* Earlier today, the Comptroller General of Immigration Service, Kemi Nanna Nandap, pcc, mmis, fsm, played host to a team from the International Organisation for Migration (IOM). Top on the issues discussed were the strengthening existing ties between the Service and IOM, fight against Smuggling of Migrants as well as continued partnership in safeguarding nations' borders. Receiving the team, the CGIS acknowledged the long-standing ties and partnership between the Service and the IOM. She observed that there is an upsurge in Smuggling of Migrants and also the need to review the National Border Management strategy: 2019- 2023. The CG further reiterated the service's commitment to deepen the working relationship with the organisation towards achieving national security. The IOM Team comprised of Mr. Laurent De Boeck, IOM Chief of Mission, Mr. Stephen Matete, IBG Senior Programme Manager and Emiola Oladepo, National Programme Officer, Immigration and Border Governance.
