Data centers under construction are up+29% YoY, to a record $45.1 billion.
Meanwhile, the value of offices under construction are down -13%, to $43.5 billion, the lowest since October 2015.
Since November 2022, when ChatGPT was launched, data center construction is up +228%.
Over that same period, office construction is down -38%.

Exactly why I'm eyeing $IREN and $CIFR hard right now this AI data center boom is real.
$IREN edges it out for me: massive $9.7B Microsoft AI cloud deal (phased NVIDIA GPUs rolling out through 2026, targeting billions in ARR), already ramping revenue faster, huge power pipeline.
$CIFR solid too with big hyperscaler leases (AWS/Google), but IREN feels more advanced on actual AI monetization.

My monetization has now been paused for a full week.
I’ve received zero emails from X explaining why it was paused, not even an acknowledgment of the appeal I submitted a week ago.
I understand delays happen, but going 7 days with absolutely no communication is about as unprofessional as it gets.
I don’t care for nor depend on X monetization, so this isn’t about the money.
But I did put real work into building my account over the past 3 months. I spent hours every day on this app growing my audience and working toward monetization. To have that taken away with no explanation and no response is frustrating.
I can’t imagine relying on X as a full-time income. If that’s your plan, DON’T. The support is terrible, even Premium+ chat feels like AI generated responses, and monetization can be taken away without any clear reason.
How much longer before someone even looks at my appeal?
