I'm addicted to upgrading. Not because I'm chasing perfection, but because growth feels better than staying the same. If you've been working on yourself lately, this one's for you.

One thing House of the Dragon completely changed from the books is Alys Rivers. In the books, she’s one of the most mysterious figures of the Dance of the Dragons—a bastard of House Strong who lives at Harrenhal and is rumored to be a witch, though nothing is ever confirmed. She eventually becomes close to Aemond Targaryen while he occupies Harrenhal, claims to have prophetic visions, and later says she is carrying his child. After Aemond’s death, she even declares her son the true heir of Aemond. The books leave everything about her open to interpretation: whether she was truly magical, whether her visions were real, and whether the child was actually Aemond’s. That uncertainty is what makes her such a fascinating character. The show flips much of this on its head by making her far more openly supernatural and by focusing heavily on her relationship with Daemon instead of Aemond, giving her a very different role in the story. And she seem to support Rhaenyra in the recent episodes too or maybe she will flip back to the greens by having affairs with Aemond if they fall back to the book, what do you think?

MR VIOLENCE! 🇵🇹🇵🇹
Ycee has a valid point but the irony is “Peller culture” thrives precisely because the system Ycee is defending (degrees, “academic excellence”) has failed to translate to jobs or stability for millions of graduates. people don’t suddenly love ignorance, the system made them
