Unless the #NFL throws its considerable weight around, this will be a @Seahawks road game. The first scenario (an Orioles home game the same day) led to the champion Ravens opening on the road in 2013. And there’s that little matter of the second: The venue is already booked.

Some small NFL TV news. The first game of the regular season will be on Wednesday night on NBC (vs usual Thursday). The Melbourne game will be on Thursday -- platform TBD. NFL can't do a Friday game this year on opening week, hence the tweaks.
