Trails from Zero: Switch vs PS4 •Switch version is better overall — sharper textures, improved lighting/shadows, cleaner visuals, better reflections, and anti-aliasing. •PS4 version looks noticeably worse (it’s basically an older upscale with lower-res backgrounds and no extra polish). •Big QoL wins on Switch: Conversation/message log (replay any talk), UI scaling options, multiple text sizes, game speed controls (field + battle), more save slots, and easier text skipping. •Performance: Switch runs at a solid 60fps (docked or handheld). PS4 is fine but doesn’t match the upgrades.
