‼️🛑 A Heartwarming Act of Honesty at StarOil Ghana🛑‼️ Dear StarOil Ghana, Yesterday, at approximately 8:24 pm, I visited your Tafo Nhyiaso branch and purchased 30 liters of fuel, costing GH¢366.90. I agreed with the fuel attendant to round it up to GH¢370. Unfortunately, I mistakenly transferred GH¢3,700 instead of GH¢370, an excess of GH¢3,330. Before I had even driven a few meters away, a motor rider caught up with me and said the attendant had asked him to call me back. The fuel attendant, Mr. David Yaw Attah, showed exceptional honesty and integrity. He immediately arranged for the full excess amount of GH¢3,330 to be refunded to me through a mobile money agent. I am deeply impressed by his professionalism and moral character. In a world where such integrity is increasingly rare, Mr. David Yaw Attah truly stood out. Please accept my sincere appreciation and commendation for his outstanding conduct. He is a credit to your company and deserves to be recognized. Thank you.

Massive respects to H.E. @JDMahama. Our values cannot be diluted and bought by sinister forces on the prowl. The folks at Lincoln University should bow their heads in shame. We are a proud Nation and no one should think they can dictate what we happens in our Nation. 🦁🇬🇭

Date cancelled. I asked her to pay for my haircut and outfit, and to send a ride to my place to take me to the location, but she declined. Biggest red flag I have ever seen. I dodged a bullet. 🚩

We had an American woman walk into Ghana and propose a rice project. The government handed her $20 million in loans and guarantees. She bought a $1.1 million house, a Rolls Royce, a Bentley, a Jaguar, and two Mercedes. Not a single grain of rice was ever grown. A US court gave her 15 years. The Ghanaian Finance Minister who approved the deal got 4 years. He was later pardoned. Then reappointed as SSNIT Board Chairman. Jesus Christ 💔😭

@elliot_solution No Government gave her money. She got bank loans which she squandered and ended up in jail. Duluth is her name I think. Happened in 2001 or there abouts.

Banks in Ghana have convinced many of us to park our money in traditional savings accounts for near-zero real returns. Most regular savings accounts pay just 1–4% per year. But inflation is now at 3.8% (as of January 2026, per Ghana Statistical Service). That means your “safe” money is often losing 0–3% of purchasing power annually. ₵10,000 today could be worth roughly ₵9,700–₵10,000 in real terms next year (after inflation eats into it). Many already know this, but they keep cash sitting there because: • Stocks feel too risky • Crypto seems like pure gambling • Real estate demands big capital to start • Starting a business feels like risking your job So they accept the silent loss. Label it an “emergency fund.” Watch it shrink in real value year after year. I was the doing same for a while. But I’ve started viewing income-producing assets through a better lens: not just “how much money do I need to start?” but “how much ongoing time does this demand after setup?” Most investments carry a hidden cost: time taxation. Emergency funds are crucial—3–6 months of expenses in liquid, safe places protects you from real emergencies. But don’t overdo it. Parking way too much in low-yield savings while inflation quietly erodes it is a slow wealth killer. Build the safety net, then put the rest to work smarter. Repost to reach a friend!

@kofigabs I agree with you. Any politicians that took public money must be put behind bar. I mean it should be same as abu trica. But for you saying he didn't caused harm to the state.. what about those he duped? Are dey not humans? Just asking

Abu Trica, who hasn’t caused any financial loss to the state, has been on remand for three months over a fraud case. Meanwhile, people appear before the Public Accounts Committee with millions missing from their departments and not a single arrest. Gift Oware, alleged to have caused over 30 million in financial loss, is still walking free. So what exactly is this system? Because it’s not justice. Ghana doesn’t have a justice system, it has a protection system for the in position of power and punishment for the powerless who vote 🗳️ for them to get power.
