I was gonna take him to the vet today but he didn't make it through the night. He left us this morning at 3:45 am. I had him in the bed with me and he was in my arms & I was cuddling him until he passed. I'll leave out the messy details of how emotional me and Lucid got but afterwards - I went to go take a shower and remembered that my father's birthday is in a couple of days. My dad passed away six years ago in the end of July, only a couple of weeks after his birthday so July is always a hard month for me. Boo boo gave me comfort through out my grieving process. I hope that my father receives my beloved Boo Boo as his birthday gift this year and takes good care of him & loves him as much as me and Lucid did - on the other side. Silly, I know, but thinking that my dad is cuddling with my fur baby in the great beyond is the only thing that gave me some reprieve.
